Designed specifically for Spanish speaking and Latinx advocates, participants will learn the basics of media structure, as well as how to tell their stories in traditional, online, and social media outlets. GLAAD will work with participants to reach and teach people through compelling storytelling combined with the best and most up-to-date media savvy and know-how. One-on-one practice on-camera interviews will help participants become comfortable doing media for Spanish-speaking and Latinx audiences and help build the skills and confidence needed to make the most of our media opportunities.

It is vital for more people of all identities to be engaged in media advocacy. GLAAD has made a strong and lasting impact over the last 32 years, but the need for engaged media advocates representing multiple identities is growing, especially in this new environment of global, national, state, and local attacks on the progress the LGBTQ community has made over the past few years.
