excellent service and gay friendly.
I arrived early, like 4 hours before check-in and the staff was knowledgeable and courteous. Let me check in early and upgraded me to a 3-story villa with my own private rooftop terrace. Very pleased with my stay here!

Lovely hotel
Although Angler's is located on a noisy stretch of Washington Ave., it is a lovely oasis of luxury and calm. Rooms have fantastic beds with linens so soft you'll contemplate stripping the bed and stealing them. Some rooms have balconies, although the views aren't so spectacular that they are a major bonus; stick with the standard rooms, you'll be fine. The pool is entirely surrounded by rooms, so there's no sun. No matter, the beach is 3 blocks away. Service is prompt and gracious, and staff are well-educated on gay life in South Beach, as much of the scene in town is within walking distance of the hotel.
