The Miami HEAT and AmericanAirlines Arena are proud to host the second annual HEAT Loud and Proud Dance Party presented by Ultimate Software on Wednesday, April 4th from 9:00 p.m. to midnight with sounds by DJ/Producer AJ Reddy. HEAT Loud and Proud is part of this yearâs official lineup of exciting events during Miami Beach Gay Pride.
The event will take place on the Xfinity East Plazaâ34,000 square feet of party space at AmericanAirlines Arena, which overlooks beautiful Biscayne Bay. The evening is dedicated to all of South Florida, especially the LGBTQ community and will provide an opportunity to dance, have fun and celebrate life and diversity. Guests that attend HEAT Loud and Proud must be 18-years-of-age or older.
HEAT Loud and Proud will feature the best in music, entertainment, bites and blends, as well as special guest appearances by representatives of the LGBTQ community and the Miami HEAT. A finalized list of special guests will be announced via social media closer to the event date.
During the event, the HEAT will make a financial donation to Aqua Foundation for Women, a local organization that serves and supports the lesbian, bisexual and transgender community in South Florida through grants, scholarships, mentoring and other initiatives including support for homeless LGBTQ youth. In addition, the HEAT has created a limited edition #PROUD Court Culture shirt and will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the shirt to Aqua Foundation for Women.
HEAT Loud and Proud was our response to the terrible massacre that took place at Orlandoâs Pulse Nightclub in June 2016. Among the survivors of the shooting was an AmericanAirlines Arena staffer which made the tragedy personal for everyone at the HEAT. The Miami HEAT was recently announced as the winner of the NBAâs inaugural 2018 Inclusion Leadership Award for our lengthy history and on-going commitment to diversity and inclusion as long-time supporters of the LGBTQ community.
Although HEAT Loud and Proud is FREE admission and open to the public (must be 18-years-of-age or older), guests must RSVP by completing the following form.
