Sensory overload music, with tour de force strippers
You move through several floors of music theme permutations. I tried to multitask, then end up at the strip club adjacent, order a drink, then a stripper strategically ran into me and I dropped the drink, no apologies, just attitude like I am supposed to buy him one, or stuff money in his crotch; Ive seen better strippers, hell Ive stuffed better strippers.
Theme music club where you can also bring your posse.
Diversified multi-level club, each floor provides different music to different crowds: Latino, reggaeton, hip-hop, rap, and disco music. The crowd is also quite diversified, some with a posse. On weekends the place gets packed, difficult to navigate around, especially in the strip club adjacent to the main club. Nice to visit if youre blasted, but not the crowd I would normally like to party with.
Rooms of fun!
A friend said of Twist as we left, it's "everything you expect a South Beach gay bar to be." Lots of different rooms with different music and feel in each one, and a great patio area where hot go-go boys are sure to please (for a price, of course). Drinks were pricey, but since there's no cover they've got to make their money somewhere. Not much of a crowd on a Thursday night, but with so many crazy club scenes outside, it was actually nice that Twist had such a controlled, but still fun, environment.
