Jungle Island

100% love it
A South Miami institution
This 19-acre park is made up of a bird sanctuary, Everglades exhibit, and exhibit of a few exotic animals. Jungle Island was opened in this location to draw crowds from the nearby cruise ship terminal, although people interested in seeing animals tend to go to the much-larger Zoo Miami instead. Jungle Island is more appropriate for families with young children, who are easily entertained by a few parrots in a cage.
