Free Public Program: An Evening with the Newest Smithsonian Museum

Join HistoryMiami and the Smithsonian Institute for a preview of the Smithsonian’s newest museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC). Enjoy a special presentation by museum curator Dr. Joanne Hyppolite of the NMAAHC, as she provides an exciting inside look into the museum set to open Fall 2016 in Washington D.C. This event is hosted as part of HistoryMiami Museum's Black History Month celebration in partnership with Miami-Dade County's Black Affairs Advisory Board. Get a sneak peek of the future collection, building and landmark that will symbolize African American history and culture for generations to come.
