We all loved Lincoln Road's "Movies In the Park" but there are some awesome ways we've made it better:
#1)An actual seat. Movies in the park was awesome except for the wet grass or trying a way to sit comfortably and indian style for 2 hours! LOL.
Movies On Ocean has chairs, and tables so you're good.
#2)Liquor!!! Movies in the park was awesome but technically we were all sneaking in wine illegally and drinking it in a public park... not so legal.
Movies On Ocean has a full bar, bottle service, cocktail waiters and a different featured wine every week. Watch your movie without watching out for the cops. LOL.
#3)Food. Delicious. Hot. Made to order food!!! Movies in the Park was awesome, but a slightly cold media noche sandwich and a warm pinot gris wasn't exactly romantic.
Movies On Ocean has a full menu of options and weekly date-night dinner specials because a date shouldn't cost the same as your light bill.
#4)A DRAG QUEEN! Let's be honest, everything is better with a drag queen. Every week Movies on Ocean has movie inspired drag performances. Noel is studying lyrics and theatricality to rival the greats on film.
#5)Movies in the Park is OVER! Like every Summer, the New World Center starts expanding our artistic pallets with symphonies, and exhibitions, and lots of other cool stuff so they pause their Wednesday Night movie showcase. So starting June 4th we are the only place where you can sit and watch a movie without freezing in a theater or sitting behind the couple that wants to talk the entire time.
