$14.00 drinks avg., but well made. Established crowd.

Good looking bar, small though!
Drinks are really good but expensive, but will go back for drinks.

This is a great place to go start the night, as I usually do for 2 hours or so to catch up with my friends and make the plans for the night. The scene is just right and the staff is great. It's a great place to wind up for the night and then head out.

I am from phila, where this is nothing like halo. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the drinks were amazing as well. i have been to the one in dc and it pales in comparison to the welcoming enviroment i got when in miami. as for the comments below, who wears versace anymore? and if they do, talks about it! a place to have a conversation is what is nec in the gay world.

snobish, loud (not the music, but you can hear people talking from the other end): it feels like you are in a crouded waiting hall

I was told by some of the local gays this bar was an upscale bar; the "Masters of the Universe" frequent the bar, and to dress appropriately. I arrived in full Versace evening wear, only to find 98% in jeans with ripped holes, muscle shirts, and baseball caps for receding hairlines. It's a small bar with a modern minimalistic design; a room with an elliptical bar at the center, and bathed under constant blue light.
This is not a place to strike conversations. After a while the small bar fills up with wanabees, and clutching to the cell phone like their life depended on it. A trip to the bathroom is glacial, and then a line. I made a joke if their installed tampon machines, only to get a highbrow from the waiting line.
After easedroping into several cell phone conversations, and not by choice, I quickly realized the night is young and time to damage in South Beach. Most of the conversation make the National Enquirer read like Plato.

THIS BAR IS AMAZING, THE STAFF IS AMAZINGLY HANDSOME WITHOUT SELLING THEMSELVES FOR A TIP. INTELLECTUAL CONVERSATION, AMAZINGLY CREATIVE DRINKS, NO SMOKING (SO HOT) IN A TOWN WHERE YOU END UP SMELLING LIKE AN ASHTRAY WHEN YOU LEAVE A BAR.

The place looks great, all white, big, sleek design, beautiful bartenders. The location is very central, too, very convenient.
What sucks is the Miami crowd as usual, we've seen some amazing bodies, but they are surrounded by the worst-dressed people, those shorts, flip flops... yuck!
People you're gay, wear tight jeans. And OK, Miami is a huge retirement home, but there is no excuse for gay people to be fat, even when they are 60, please grandpas, if you want to come to Halo, diet.

It's really the most beautiful gay place in Miami besides MAGNUM Lounge on 79th St Causeway. The boys seem to be all the most beautiful and young or wanna-be-youngsters like me. The lights are bright so you don't have to squint to check out a hot guy. The drinks are strong but you pay of it. It's not the kind of place you usually stay all night at - and the bathrooms are always clean! it's a great watering hole right off of trendy Lincoln Road. I will go again. But next time I won't alone. It's cliquish.

Beautiful space, great drinks and friendly staff. There was such a nice crowd, even for a Monday night. Loved It!
So, what do you say?
